Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew of any playgroups in Bolingbrook. I would like to meet other moms around my age with children around the same age of my son. I'm 28, and my son is 10 months old. If no one knows of any existing playgroups, maybe I'll start one if there is any interest. I would be willing to host 'playtime' at my house in Bolingbrook (near 53 and Briarcliff). We could get together twice a month so the little ones can learn some social skills :-) Oh, and we can chat and eat some snacks while referering :-) Just let me know if anyone is interested. ____@____.com
You can join the Moms Club of Bolingbrook if you live WEst of Weber you join Moms Club West the meeting is the 2nd Tues of the moth at Fire Station 5 and if you live East of Weber then youjoin the East Moms Club. They daily events and several playgroups. Its a pretty nice group to belong to!! Feel free to email me ifyou have questions I belong to the WEst Moms Club also there are a ton of things at the park district.... check it out!!
Hi Everyone! I just started a new Mommy Milk Meetup in the Oswego/Montgomery/Yorkville/Aurora area. I am looking for new members who would like to get together for monthly meetups and maybe a weekly or bi-weekly playgroup. The group's main objective will be to bring support and encouragement to parents who wish to provide a loving and compassionate route for raising their children through babywearing, breastfeeding, child-led weaning, co-sleeping and other attachment building strategies for building healthy, loving relationships.
I am a new mom to Libby, 5 months old and looking forward to meeting like-minded breastfeeding moms in my area.

I'm down the street from you in the Lakewood area. My kids are a little older- 3 and 16 months. We go to the library a lot-- they have story times (and there is a lapsit for the little guys that you might want to check out) that the kids love. And they also have other things like activity time. There is a moms club too. I keep meaning to join but haven't done it yet. It's always advertised in the paper though.

I do not know of any organized playgroups in the area, but I live about 10-15 minutes from where you're at (in Darien) and would very much be interested in getting our children together. I am a SAHM to our 11-month old son, Devin, and so far have not had much luck finding other children close to his age in our own neighborhood.
