I'm a nurse practitioner in the area and can appreciate your sentiments! I can honestly tell you that I have never been unhappy with the peds practice we chose for our sons. They are flexible, accomodating, supportive and there are personalities that will suit everyone's needs.

I LOVE Loudoun Pediatrics, esp Dr Anya and NP Jane Thompson. Their offices (it is about 8 MDs and 4 NPs) is located directly across from Loudoun HOspital. Their office information: 19450 Deerfield Avenue, Leesburg, VA 20176 ###-###-####.

K., I'm so sorry to hear that your pediatrician left your practice. It is hard when you have someone that you trust and then have to "start over" again. We have been blessed to be patients of Ashburn Pediatrics for 11 years today actually. Today is my twin boys birthday. All of the MD's are wonderful. However, my personal favorite is Dr. Victoria Pierce. She is very good with the kids and relates well to the parents. She does not let her ego prevent her from her doing what is best for the child. She is very friendly, approachable, an excellent diagnostician, and realizes that moms know their babies the best. Good luck and check them out. I know you'll love them. Their number is ###-###-####. I go to Capital Area Peds in Ashburn and love all of the doctors there. I see a different one each time just because I value all of their opinions but you can see one in particular if you like them.

Hi, I am the same type of mom you are. We don't take our kids to a pediatrician, we have a family practice doctor that is every bit as good though and he's great with our two sons, one of whom is only 4 1/2 months old. His name is Dr. Robert Saunders and he's at the Lansdowne Family Medicine clinic in the Kaiser building (but not Kaiser) right near the Lansdowne Hospital. He's awesome and he always respects my instincts and knowledge of my own children, not to mention my own education and research. He's even commented that it's so much easier for him with experienced moms that know their way around childhood ailments. Their office accepts all kinds of Insurance, including Tricare which is what we have. I highly recommend Dr. Saunders (Dr. Bob). He's wonderful. Good Luck.

Lisa Williams with Ashburn Village Pediatrics is awesome! She was my pediatrician of choice when my daughter Olivia was born - Olivia is 3-1/2. The other doctors in the practice have also been wonderful, when Lisa is not available.

My husband and I strongly recommend Lisa Williams!

I really like Dr. Bradshaw at ABC Pediatrics. She's in downtown Fredericksburg, so it may be out of your way. We have an 11 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and she has been wonderful with both. We unfortunately have had every communicable illness this year, from ear infections to the stomach flu to rsv, and she has gone out of her way to see us and treat our children. We recently moved to the area last year and feel we are very fortunate to have chosen her.

I recommend Dr. Michele Reilly at Ashburn Pediatrics ###-###-####). She is a wonderful doctor who relates to each child individually. I have two kids whom I take to her and she makes time to interact with the well kid as well as the sick one.

I have been very pleased with Loudoun Pediatric Associates. I see Dr. Seth Tobeck and Dr. Anya Roychoudhury and have never had a reason to be unhappy with them- they have both been very kind and are never dismissive of my thoughts/opinions. I will say that I am not fond of one of the Nurse Practitioners- Sharon Corriveau was very dismissive of my opinions and caused me a lot of unnecessary worry and self doubt- I no longer accept appts with her.
The practice has morning walk in hours, and Saturday and evening appts available should you need them. And if you still can't get in they (along with Ashburn Pediatrics) are in the same medical group as the Urgent Care center in Sterling by the Target. This is great because it means if you need to go they have your child's history already and you aren't starting from scratch.

They are located in Lansdowne directly across from the hospital.
