Any recommendations on a good pediatrician in the Villa Park/Oakbrook area/Hinsdale? I would like the physician to be on staff at Hinsdale Hospital as that is where I am going to deliver. I like a soft, sincere personality in a physician who really listens to your concerns, as well as, of course, being on top of the latest medical news.
I and my children see Dr. Ellis Talbert, he is a family practiconer but has been taking care of my 7 year old daughter since 15 months old and my four year old son since birth. He is out of Hinsdale Hospital and is wonderful. He is patient with new Moms and they will always get you in when you have emergency. The only draw back is that you sometimes you have to wait in office. His number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!
Dupage Medical Group out of Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Good mix of male/female docs. My son sees Drs. Boettcher and Steinken (males) mostly and likes them.
I really like Hinsdale Pediatrics in HInsdale...###-###-####. It is located right around York and Ogden. Dr. Lisa Franco is our doctor and she is wonderful. Although wait times in the office sometimes border on the ridiculous, she always takes time to sit and answer any questions I have. I never feel rushed and my kids love her. There are 5 doctors in the practice. There is one that I really dislike. Email me if you'd like any more info.
When we lived in that area we had the BEST doctor for our family. He is a Family Practicioner though not a Pediatrician if that makes a difference to you. He has rights at LaGrange and at Hinsdale Hospital. All of the doctors in his group are outstanding and cared for our family from birth until at least 12 (For our oldest). Here is his info:

I remember one time that my son was so afraid of the doctor that he would hide under the chair in the check up room. Dr. DuPont actually got down on the floor with him and checked his ears under the chair. After that, my son was never afraid to see him or any other doctor again.
