My daughter will 11 months on tuesday. Almost every single morning she wakes up and has peed out of her diaper. She sleeps about 12 hours straight. I always change her right before she goes to bed. I have her in Pampers baby dry. Her diapers are really heavy in the morning. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do.

So What Happened?

So we switched to the Huggies overnight. They worked perfect. Thank you everyone.

I use to put plastic/cloth (plastic on the outside, cloth on the in) training pants over the diaper. That at least kept everything dry and then I'd just throw them in the wash. I'd buy 4 or 5 pairs. I got them at Target.

I also had this problem and still use baby dry during day but switched to huggies overnights at night. He doesn't leak through them and they can be very full in the mornings!

Hi K.,
My daughter was the same way. A couple of suggestions, make sure she is warm enough at night with fleece jammies, switch to overnight diapers one size larger than she normally wears and go online and buy double up diaper pads by Medline. The diaper pads are like a maxi pad without the plastic. These things kept my daughter dry during the night. I even put socks on her feet under her footie jammies as my daughter gets cold at night and would always leak.

Do you give her juice before bed? Try eliminating it and only give it to her an hour before bed so she doesnt go to sleep with it. My son is nine months and has a huge problem with this. Ive tried every diaper on the market kid you not. Can say I absolutely positively do not like pampers they work just as well as the luvs except the beeds dont come out of the diaper like loves do. I can suggest huggies they work the best. I usually put a dry diaper on him right before bed and put him to bed. I use huggies cruisers or huggies overnights they work the best. Its seriousely frustrating when your son or daughter wakes up and they are drenched in urine and you have to immidiately change their diaper and clothes and clean the bed sheets off every night. Ive been there and feel your pain. Good luck. I hope all works out. Let me know how it goes.

I also had to use huggies overnights for my son. cloth during the day, huggies overnights at night. they NEVER leaked, and there were many mornings that the diaper was so full it looked like he'd been swimming instead of sleeping!
