NFL Moms - That Ravens/Patriots Game!!!

Can you believe it? I bet last night my 1st born that the Pats would win again. I knew Baltimore would put up a good fight but in all honesty I didn't think they would win. I am soooooo glad we won't be watching the Pats in the Superbowl again. Sorry Pats fans but you spanked Houston TWICE, plus, its nice to see other teams slug it out.

Do you think Ray Lewis' still hanging in there had anything to do with it? Did everyone see him flashing everyone at the end of the game when he was praying to the Lord Almighty on his hands and knees?

This is going to be an awesome Superbowl this year. I think we will see some good, excellent, exceptional football with the Ravens and the 49ers. It doesn't hurt that its in New Orleans - partay!

What can I do next?

I couldn't be happier. I do think Ray Lewis is a drama queen, his rambling about sacrifices made no sense but did seem to focus on one thing- himself. But, I'd rather he win than a team known to be cheaters with a big baby for a coach who can't even be a good sport after the game.

Glad they won't have another win with an asterisk after it!

Honestly, I don't really care who wins the superbowl this year, just glad it won't be the Patriots!!

Hubby wants the Ravens to win because they beat us (Broncos). He is a better sport than me like that, would at least like to say that we were beat by the winners of the Superbowl. I'm a little more petty. :-) But really, will just be nice to watch the game without a dog in the fight!

That was an awesome game. GO RAVENS! haha, you Pats fans (mostly just the ones belly aching on this post) are a bunch of big cry babies just like your QB and your coach who refused to participate in any interviews after the game. You just got beat by a bunch of thugs then, so go put that in your pipe and smoke it. The Pats are a dynasty team. Ravens are the real deal. Happy for my team and my city! So glad Ray will be able to end his amazing career at the superbowl!

Epic game! I'm happy for the Ravens-I think it's cool that the Super Bowl will have opposing coaches that are brothers-and I think Ray Lewis is a testament to what a man can do to change his life when it's indicated. He's very inspirational and a great asset to the Ravens-I'm sure they will deeply miss him. I think he is truly a prince of a guy.

im a green bay fan so im not exactly thrilled lol.. although i do think its going to be a great game... im so so happy for ray lewis, hes the man.. but i have been referring to this years superbowl as the douchebag bowl.. im so not a fan of either of the harbaughs, cant stand them.. i gotta say go ravens.. #1because of ray lewis and #2 because their coach is the lesser of 2 douchebags
- as much as it pains me to say this because i dont like the 49ers and i also think alex smith got screwed.. they made the right decision that kid kaepernick is good

just to add.. the ravens pats game was awesome, dont get me wrong i dont like seeing players get hurt and they shouldnt get hurt, but to me thats how football should be! they shouldnt have to like tip toe around trying to make suure they dont get a penalty for every little hit.. just HIT EM!! i love it!

My older son predicted - before the regular season started - that the Ravens would go to the Super Bowl. I asked him last night when we were leaving for Vegas. :P

I would have bet $1000 that the Pats would win AT HOME last night. And as a long-time Colts fan (and now Broncos thanks to Peyton) I am NO fan of the Pats. And I'm not a huge fan of the Ravens either, thanks to their constant whining about the Colts leaving town years ago. But I still wanted them to beat the Pats.

I have stayed away from football all year because it's lost its luster for me, but even I watched last night's game.

Wow. I'm as shocked as you! And pleased!

PS: I did think that was a dirty hit by the Ravens (when the Pats player looked knocked out and fumbled the ball). Ugh.

HAR-BOWL All the way! Great games yesterday, looking forward to the Super Bowl....Go Niner's!

I guess the coaches Mom and Dad will have to take turns cheering for the boy's teams.

My club had the best Pot Luck yesterday, I'm just wondering what we will do to top it for the Super Bowl.

ETA: Oh my God - really? That was 2007 when the Pats got slapped for the "cheating"...guess they could have just watched old games....however what the Ravens did??? INTENTIONALLY HURTING PLAYERS??? Bad form......oh well...some people don't see the difference, I guess.

I'm not a Raven's fan. They are right up there with the Saints - injuring players to win....

I was looking for a good game. I didn't get it. The Falcons & 49ers was a good game...that was a hard fought game...

I didn't pay attention to Ray Lewis - sorry. I was NOT happy with the way Bellichick handled himself after the game. URGH! That 3rd quarter "call" on the hit Pollard hit to Ridley? BAD form. BAD CALL. Ridley got more than his bell wrung....he was out. That wasn't a "fumble" that was a BAD HIT.

Oh well...I'll be watching the Super bowl for the commercials...
