Need Simple Preschool Christmas Craft Idea

These are designed for preschoolers.

I used to be a preschool art teacher. The prettiest craft that we ever made for christmas was I glued popsicle sticks into stars by taking three sticks and gluing them together in the middle to make a star shape with craft glue. Let them dry. Then take tinsel and cut it into about half an inch size pieces and place in a shoe box or shallow baking pan. Let the children paint glue onto the popsicles stick star using medium size paint brushes and some watered down glue, then have them dip the star into the tinsel and lay to the side to dry. Later you can tie a string onto the star to make an ornament.

Another simple ornament is to make cinnamon ornaments using about equal portions of cinnamon, applesauce and then a little white glue. mix it all together, wrap it up and put it in the fridge for at least 30 min. and then roll it out and cut it into shapes using cookie cutters. punch a hole in the top using a straw and then let it air dry until hard. Add a ribbon at the top and you have a great smelling ornament!
