Need Ideas for 3 Yr Old Son B-day Party

My youngest is turning 3 next month. I'm thinking this will be the first year I'll let him invite some friends to a party of some sort. Usually we just had family over for lunch/cake. I live in Aurora & would like some ideas of things to do for a 3 yr old part in the area. Was thinking of a bowling party, but some of the kids may be a bit too young for this. Also was thinking of a Moon jump rental...
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks,
M.

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the great ideas. I decided to have a party at the local gymnastics center. That way the kids have a lot of fun jumping & playing & not too much planning on my part. LOL. Thanks again.

We had a small gathering of one little friend and some family when our daughter turned three. She also loves Chuck E Cheeses and we took her there at 2 and again at 4 years of age. A moon jump or, if the day is nice, a kiddie pool, slip and slide, something to cool off in.

My son turns 4 in October, and we're having him a bowling party. Get the bumpers if you decide to do this so no one throws gutter balls.

When he turned 3, we did Chuck E. Cheese's. Expensive, but fun as I don't know what! We were so pleased, and he and his friends were SO happy that day.

We took my daughter to the museum when she turned 2, and that was fun. We would have went to the zoo, but it rained.

We take our kids to the movies all the time (well behaved li'l angels...lol), so that was also a thought when we were thinking about AJ's 4th.

Honestly, I think a moon jump would be such a great idea... Also, you could hold a water fun party.. Attach a hose with a two or three way converter, ( how you can hook up three hoses to a single spicket ) and fill a bunch of water balloons, some splash balls, some wading pools, and hold a little ones water fun/luau.. Go to oriental trading.com and you can order party supplies for a fraction of what you'd pay even at a dollar tree. This is just an idea I came up with for my youngest DD at her third b-day party....... We lived in Fl at the time and she and all her friends could swim & loved the water,, ( but then again, she and her friends comprised her swim team, haha,,), so we just held a pool party in our back yard..

Good luck,
A.

Try the zoo. It's the best! Perfect for a three year olds party because they do EVERYTHING. Even the favors! And then people can mill around when it's done. We did that for my sons birthday and many people said it was the best party ever.
