I am looking for a New Family doctor for me in the Denton area. Any recommendations? Preferrably around Denton Regional, Lewisville or even Flower Mound. Good bedside manner. Gender does not matter...
My husband and I see Dr. Morgan at the Family Doctors at I35E and Teasley. I never feel rushed. They have several doctors and PAs so if you are sick and need to get in someone is always available to see you same day. They also have a great chiropractor on staff, Dr. Manin.
Our family has been happy with Dr. Talbot. He's in Denton.
I had Dr Slezak in Lewisville but she was through but she also takes advantage of insurances. I had a stroke so had to have the best care and she always drew blood and urine samples. I do not have good insurance not with divorce and these doctors in Ft Worth never do that. She also would give me a ekg before sending me to the heart specialist and then he had nothing to do. She is good. No one stays with her because she treats her staff aweful, but as long as she took good care of me that is what counted. G. W
Dr. Fillipo Masciarelli is an excellent doctor. Never feel rushed....he takes as much time as you need to make sure all your questions are answered. Currently the Chief of Staff at Denton Regional.
My husband and I see Dr. Marla Strittmatter at the Medical Center of North Texas on Colorado Blvd. behind Denton Regional Med Ctr. She is great... very kind, attentive, good listener and good doctor. HTH
Dr David Goff at Cook Childrens in Denton. He has 3 other associates so if your daughter is sick on his day off then you will see on of the other associates, who by the way are great also.
I see Dr. Marla Strittmatter, whose office is on Colorado Blvd. across from Denton Regional. She's very professional, easygoing, and likable. I highly recommend her. I prefer female physicians for myself. ###-###-####,
My kids and husband go to Dr. Thomas Newell, and we all love him, too. Again, very easygoing and professional, plus his office is not nearly as crowded as some of the Cook's Children's Doctors offices that we switched from, so you're not having to wait an eternity in the waiting room and can often secure a same-day appointment (although I guess this doesn't concern you since you're not looking for a pediatrician.) My husband switched from his physician to Dr. Newell, as well, which says a great deal about him. He is very easy to talk to and really listens to your concerns. Just the sweetest man. His office is on 1214 Primrose Ln., just off of University Dr. (west of Sonic near Malone St.) Phone is ###-###-####.
We use Dr. Monica Olivier in Lewisville. She's a DO and we really, really like her approach. I don't have personal experience with him, but I noticed a pp recommended Tom Newell and I've heard great things about him. Good luck in finding someone who's a fit for your family!
My family goes to the "Family Doctors" on Teasley and for a pediatrician both of my boys see Dr. Torrie corner of Lillian Miller and Teasley she is in the same office as Dr. Goff all of them are wonderful and they work you in for urgent needs.
We love Tom Newell at Family Care Center on Primrose lane in Denton. He is excellent with our kids and we can always get in even at the last minute. Our kids love him!
I also have a little girl that started Kindergarten at Argyle!
