I would like to have our gas starter fireplace converted to gas-burning log. I will also need to have the cement crown on our chimney repaired. Can anybody recommend somebody who will do work like this in the NW Dallas area?
I recently did some research on fireplace companies (we need a cap put on our chimney). I called a very helpful place in Plano called Chimney King. They didn't service my area, but they referred me to a place that did. You might try them. ###-###-####
I looked online and I think this is the guy we used last year - very, very nice and knowledgable, for your chimney work. He's been doing it for YEARS.

when we got our gas logs installed. I don't know if they can fix the chimney or not, but it's worth a call. They did a great job. Also, our hot water heater on the 2nd floor broke and flooded the downstairs & the wall with the fireplace shortly after the logs were installed and they came and checked the chimney for us to make sure all was well for no charge.
