I am very interested in integrative and alternative medicine - but at your baby's age you need professional advice (perhaps multiple opinions) as to what is going on. That's a very young baby.

Once you get her situation stabilized then you can consider various paths to overall health and wellness.

Good luck.

i would def get a second opinion but get to another doctor ASAP. when my baby was a few months old, he had the same symptoms...he has some asthma-like problems and is on breathing treatments still occasionally (especially when he gets a cold). but at about 5 months he went through the whole RSV thing and was in the hospital for a week. breathing problems are nothing to shake off, especially if you hear wheezing. she just may need some "help" getting that cleared up and a week or so of breathing treatments may do it. do you notice if she is coughing anything up? if she is, try to see what color it is. if it's anything but clear/white then there's probably infection in there and she def needs to see a dr.

Go to another Doctor. A cough that lasts for a month and a half in a 3 month old is not something that you should just brush off. From pertussis to a milk allergy, there is a TON of things that could be causing a little baby to have a cough for HALF of her life. New Doctor or second opinion, and right away. Once you get another doctor to tell you it is nothing (doubtful) then you should ask them what home remedies you should try.

I agree with the previous answers. One of my children had croup as a baby, but she recovered in a short time. Please get a second opinion asap. If it's the same as the first opinion, ask that doctor what is going on, then, and what to do. What you're saying in your post is that your daughter has had this cough/wheeze half her life. That's too long.
