We will soon be moving to the area (once my second child is born in May). Any advice on neighborhoods with great amenities without too long a drive to downtown Dallas for my husband?
I live in South Arlington. My husband drives 45 min to work in Dallas and 45 min back home. He is not thrilled about the drive but I do not want to live in Dallas. Your husband needs to decide first how far he is willing to drive.Cedar Hill is growing and looks like a good city to live in, the drive would not be as long as Arlington. Good luck!
If you want a great neighborhood with great amenities and money is no object, Highland Park has the best schools by far and you are really close to downtown.
Coppell is a kid friendly, still small town feeling, with great public schools, great shopping and close to the big D.
The HEB area is great and I would say about 20 minutes from downtown if you live in Euless. THe school dsitricts are great. I have never been happier with HEB school district. Plus I am close to Dallas, Irving, Fort Worth and Grapevine..
