Hello ladies. I am hoping to find any suggestions fo a Mother's Day Out or daycare 1 or 2 days weekly in the Cranberry or Richland Township areas? We will most likely be moving to one of these areas and I am assuming these schools are enrolling currently. This would be for my soon to be 2 year old. Thank U in advance!

What can I do next?

Hi M.,
I too have used A kids place. It is very convienent. To my knowledge thery are the only preschool for 2yrs old in Cranberry. However I believe there is one in Pine or Wexford. I remember someone mentioning it to me recently and loved it. The name escapes me but if you do a Yahoo search most or all of the preschools should come up.

I read your other notes about fighting for services for your daughter. I do know a lot of families with autistic children and they rave about the wrap around services. Some have had to fight harder than others, but I don't know of any family that was out right denied. Call Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, they should be able to give you some direction, as well as screen her for needs. I do know there are private schools with funding but are tough to get in. One of my close friends lost her placement with a school and now has her daughter in Easter Seals and is very pleased. I hope this helps. I know you have your hands full. You might also want to think about joining a moms club, momsclub.com. I know there are several in the area and are a great support to any mom.
take care and best of luck.

Hello. My two year old daughter, Gianna, attends a drop in daycare in Cranberry, on route 19. She goes full time, but most of the children are "drop-ins" or once or twice a week. It's called "A Kid's Place" and the phone number is ###-###-####. I think they are open until 10pm and midnight on Saturdays. It's owned by a pediatric nurse and they also cater to children with special needs. They have a pre-school, as well. I think it's a relatively small daycare, but it's all we know and we love it.

Cranberry has a wonderful place called a kids place drop in care. They are absolutely wonderful. It is so much cheaper than part time at another day care, and they have pre-school. My children arent't enrolled there for pre-school but I hear that is good as well. Best of luck.
