Hi, I am looking for other moms and children in the area for Playgroups! I have a 2 year old girl and am a stay at home mom and would love a consistant playgroup for us! We live in Kyle but San Marcos or Austin isn't too far either. Thanks!
Hi K.! I just sent out a similar request/question and came across yours. I wonder if you found any good groups or formed your own? I have a 6-month-old and would love for her to meet other babies and I would certainly love to meet other moms.

I'm a stay at home mom of a boy (5) who goes to K-4 in Austin, and a baby girl (6 mos). I live in Kyle as well.
I'm in a mom's group that's based out of San Marcos. Many of the mom's in the group live in Kyle, and many live in San Marcos. We have a group on Yahoo! If you go to www.yahoo.com, search "SanMarcosMomsGroup" (no spaces), you'll find us. If you join the group you'll receive emails of what is on our calendar. It's really a great group. We have playdates frequently, tumble time at a gym in San Marcos (weekly), storytime at the library, field trips and Mom's Night Out. If you check out the group on Yahoo! I'm the girl in the Texas shirt in the picture.

We are trying to get playgroup activity organized. We created a site called www.sanmarcosmommyconnection.com . The site is intended to help organize playgroups and provide information useful to parents trying to find activities for kids. We intend to build this site out over time to be more and more useful to the parents in the community.
