I only have5 Dr's to choose from on my list of providers. I have PPO but you know how that goes, if you dont pick from the list still you dont get as good of coverage...if you want to call it good to begin with,lol. So here are the Drs listed: Eric Edelenbos (Fl. Island), Curtis Krebs (same office looks like in Fl. Is), Richard McCauley, Robert Powers and Arjav Shah. Wanting to know if anybody has had these Drs or currently has them. Which one may be reccomended. I MAY need to end up having some surgery so I want to make sure it's somebody good that would catch anything going on. You know, good bedside manner and doesnt blow everything you ask about off like nothing and it's all in your head ;)I've had Drs like this before and now just finding out about stuff with my new Physician that should have been told about long time ago and taken care of. Thanx for any info can provide :)
Well, I just got all of your emails and I am very GREATFUL!To you all for writing and also that all my choices seem to be good ones anyway.I am not quite as nervouse now about calling and getting in.Than so much.Will let you know how it goes! ;)
That's the practice I go to! They are all wonderful there, and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Dr. Powers has an OUTSTANDING reputation in the area, and with other doctors, which is always a good sign. Dr. Shah is my OB/GYN. He is WONDERFUL! He delivered my little girl last year and I won't go to anyone else ever again. He has a great bed-side manner and is brilliant! Good luck with your choice--I hope I've helped!
Dr. Powers is great. i met him 8 years ago on the first day I arrived by plane to florida with my 3 and 5 yr old, I was 7 months pregnant and went into labor on the plane. I went to the ER as soon as I got here and he was on call, he was so great and calming. It was the worse day of my life and he comforted me and made me feel like her was totally in charge and would fix everything. He stopped my labor and i went home on bed rest and delivered a healthy baby boy 5 weeks later. I had a different OB. due to my insurance, but always liked him. Quite a few of my friends use him and love him.
I have Dr. Mccauley and he is really good. I have heard he is the one you want if you need surgery. He has been my gyn for all three of my kids. He only delivered one, but the other doctors in the practice are great as well. Dr. Powers delivered my last baby, he was awesome as well. Hope that is helpful!
I have the same problem. I had to end up choosing the one that has availability the soonest and that was Dr Arjav Shah. I haven't see him yet but I have an appointment on Sept 25th. I will be happy to let you know how it goes.
I had my appointment with Dr Shah and he is great. the facility he is at is also very nice, is new and very clean. It is located at Eagle Harbor Pkwy in Orange Park
