so thank you ladies again for the wonderful advice about my son's nosebleed....i appreciate it! now for another part of my spectacular day yesterday, my son left three crayons on my back car seat and they melted while i was at work yesterday. (well...it WAS 110) UGH! BUT thank god (i think) that i have leather seats. i am pretty sure this is an easy fix - but by the time i got home and tried to clean it, the a/c had hardened it again. is it okay to just scrape it off? will i find a stain underneath? is there a "proper" way to tackle this issue? i am not planning on trading this car in for a very long time, so i would like to take care of it...but i didn't want to attempt to clean it, and make it worse by not knowing what i was doing. thanks in advance, you guys are the best!
I would try some goof off. I would wait until it gets warm again. After that,I would try to wipe up what you can while it is warm. Once you get some wiped up use a soft cotton cloth with the goof off on it to get the rest of it off.
Put paper towels over it and some wax paper on the wax paper use your iron. As the crayon melts the towels soak it up
Ice it and pick it off with your fingernail.
Better to pick it off than than to moosh it around.

Either try Goo Gone or Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I really wouldn't try to scrape it off as you may scratch or dig the leather. I swear by the magic eraser and use it for everything. The goo gone works wonders too but you may take the color off with it too. Let it melt again and try to wipe as much of it off as possible. As you turned off the ac and it was warm last night it may have softened up enough to wipe off. But I would def try the magic eraser. Best of luck!!
Easiest and cleanest way...to avoid damaging the leather...
Your iron, and some paper towels.
You need to heat the wax enough to re-melt it. Put the paper towels (I'd use 2 or 3 layers to make sure you protect the seat), and put the warm-hot iron on top of the towels. As the was melts, it'll soak into the paper towels.
Very little to clean up.
