Hi, This is my first pregnancy and I'm looking for a good ob/gyn. The closest hospital to me is Auburn Regional Medical Center, and I'm looking for some recommendations. Does anyone have any experience with this hospital and ob/gyn's in it? Who was your ob/gyn and were/are you happy with them? Thanks!
Thanks everyone for all your input! I decided to look into a midwife instead of a hospital, that way I can have a natural birth with less interventions. Thanks again!
Dr. Lanza is fabulous! I had all 3 of my babies at this hosp. I only had Dr. Lanza with my 3rd - but if I were to have any more (which I don't plan on it) but if I did - I would definitely use him. The nurses in the delivery dept at the hosp are super!!! The rest of the hosp is improving. But as far as the labor and delivery and the cardiac depts - they are top notch. I absolutely love Dr. Lori Channel who works at Valley Medical Center. I drove from Issaquah just to see her. She personally deivered my last 2 children which seems to be rare thes days. Many times whatever doctor on call does the deliveries. She is a young,energetic doctor who even made me laugh during labor.
I used Valley Women's Clinic. They were AMAZING! I had Dr. Maccio for both my young boys. They made me feel welcome and if I called with one of my many panic questions, they just walked me through it. I never felt like an idiot for asking questions or feeling scared. Good luck and congratulations!
I also used Valley Womens Health Center, though I had Dr. Shope, he was great, very reasuring that everything would be great. He was my Ob/Gyn for both my babys. And I loved Auburn hospital.
