Looking for Good Clothes Consignment Shops for Adults

Hello,

I'm looking for some good clothes consignment stores for adults that actually have fashionable clothes. I live in Southlake, but I will travel to Dallas or Fort Worth. I've heard there are some good ones in Dallas I just don't know where they are. I'm in Dallas more than I am in Fort Worth. I'm 43 so I'm not looking for trendy clothes, but I still would like to find a consignment shop that had fashionable classy clothes. The ones I've been to the clothes are way too outdated.

Thanks in advance,
J.

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions! I haven't had the time to check all these places out yet. Very soon I plan on taking a day "off" and getting away to Dallas to check all these resale shops out. I knew these places were somewhere I just had no idea where to start. I have lots of options now. I will have to let everyone know how it goes when I finally get to go. I just wanted to send a big thanks for all the emails with suggestions.

Blessings,
J. F.

Have you tried Clothes Circuit? It is near Highland Park, and they have some very nice things. I got a steal on a Marc Jacobs jacket with the tags attached. They have very strict policies on what they accept. It has to be dry cleaned with the receipt attached. They also have very good shoes, like louboutin's, chanel, manolo's etc. Hope this helps!

There is an excellent men's shop on the south side of Oak Lawn just west of Cedar Springs and there is a nice ladies shop on the south side of Mockingbird a block or two east of Highway 75.

Check with Kid to Kid consignment.

I have shopped there several times I buy consignment for the sping/summer time.

I have seen some really pretty dresses there and nice boy outfits. I have purched items like Gap/Landsend/Childrens Coutyard...things like that.

If your looking for Toddler clothing for littler girl I have A TON of clothing that I would like to sell to someone I know will take care of them. Sizes range from NB - 3T. I have nice outfits!

Email me and i will send you my # if your interested in taking a look.

I am not sure what the name of the shop is, but there is a nice resale/type shop on Highway 26, a little bit past NRH2O on the left-hand side of the road. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but there are quite a few nice things inside. It is run by a super sweet woman and seems to have a great selection. I hope this helps, I wish i could tell you the exact name and address, but I found it by accident while driving around out there.

I do not know that name of the store(s). There are three right together on Highway 26 in Hurst across from the Uhaul storage and down the street from Riscky's BBQ. They have name brands from Talbots, Dilliards, Nordstrom and are very picky about what clothes they will take - as all must be resaleable.

I haven't been to these in awhile but there used to be one called Clothes Horse Anonymous that was off of Sherry Lane in Dallas. There is also a good one across from SMU called Robin Hood something that carried some nice classic clothes.

a lot of the consignment stores will have a 3-fold flyer with all the other consignment stores in this area. It's a very handy thing to have. http://www.consignmentdallas.com/
