My 3 1/2 year old is at Springfield Montessori on Mitchell (in between Ygnacio and Treat off of Oak) and I LOVE this school. The teachers are all excellent and the academics are great. It's very structured and the teachers will work with you on any issues your child maybe having. Downside is that you have to make your child's lunch and since they are on a school calendar they have lots of breaks(2-3 days between school and summer, 2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week spring break). good luck.

PLAY & LEARN, at the corner of Pleasant Hill road and Oak Park Bl, in Pleasant Hill.

This preschool is actually in Pleasant Hill at the edge of Walnut Creek. They are absolutely amazing, we were there for 8 years between our 2 kids and highly recommend them. Their staff usually stays forever ( some have been there for 20 years plus), which says a lot about the place. Instead of me going on and on about the place, let me know if you have specific questions you would like answered.

Good luck,

V.

My son has gone to Trinity Luthern Preschool in Walnut Creek for 2 years. They are located on Buena Vista. I have truly loved them. With my daughter we had to move her 3 times before we found a good fit but with my son I went to them all before deciding. It is a church preschool and they do some teaching around bible stories. They are open from 7:30 to 6pm. The teachers are very loving and great about talking to you. I can and do call all the time to see how he is doing and they are great about answering any and all of my questions. He was a very shy child and did not like to be away from me, but he adjusted to this school very easily. The director is great and very hands on. Like you I have 3 kids 13,10, and 4, so I know how hard it can be to find a good preschool. If you have any more questions please let me know. Good Luck in your search.
