I am looking for a reasonably priced daycare in the Southwest part of Houston. My daughter is currently enrolled at daycare, but I am unhappy with the quality of care she is receiving. Please, let me know any referrals to a daycare preferably in the Galleria area.

go to www.dfps.state.tx.us and search texas child care, search day care, fill in preference, either home-based care or center-based care, age range, and zip code(s) most convenient for you. when the list comes up you can click on the name and it will give you more info including inspection dates and violations, if you click on the inspection date, it will list the violations, and by clicking on the violation number, it will give you details.

good luck.

My 2 and 1/2 year old little girl goes to Bellaire Presbyterian. We used to be at Memorial Lutheran, and we were miserable. We never got any feedback, even when she had gotten hurt at school. We've been at Bellaire since October, and she has not had one single potty accident (she had one or two a day at her previous school)! She loves her teachers, and we constantly get feedback about her development. They provide hot breakfast and lunches at no additional charge too.
