Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with a bilingual preschool in the San Diego area. Did your child enjoy the class and actually learn both English and Spanish? Was it expensive? I've heard that it is possible to apply for scholarships to help pay the tuition - is this true? Thanks for your help.

What can I do next?

Hi L.,

There is a preschool called magic kingdom in Paridise Hills that my daughter went to. The caregivers name is Tia and she is wonderful with the children. She teaches spanish/english to the children. She is not expensive at all. I believe you can look her information up online. Hope this helps I do not know where I placed her card sorry.

Hi L., we also have a program at home that we started recently that I think you might really like. Our program is called Imagine and Learn and we are in East Chula Vista, hope it's not too far from you. Let me know if you would like me to send you some info by e-mail. Basically the child learns by imitating, experimenting first hand and of course we do thing in both English and Spanish. When kids kids are happy and get to do the activities them selves, they crave learning new things and so get them fast.

Hi L.,
I work at the Lakeside Union School District and we have a preschool program that does English and Spanish. I am the Site Supervisor for the preschools and the Teacher for the State Preschool. The spanish/english program is in the afternoons from 11:45-3:15pm M-F (or you can do 2 or 3 days a week also). It is a wonderful program. Give me a call so I can give you more information at ###-###-####.
Have a super day!

The only one of know of is Longfellow in Clairemont. It's a public charter school, so the cost is nothing. I'd like for my children to attend, but they're still too young. Also, we might not be living close enough to attend if we move to a home.

If you come across any legitimate schools, I'd appreciate an email of those schools.
Thanks,
