Hi A.,
I live in West Chester and highly, highly recommend Dr. Ruchhoft at For Women. She is one of 7 or 8 (I've lost track since they have added on) women OB/GYN doctors, and they deliver at Good Samaritan, primarily, and sometimes Christ Hospital. When I had my second child last year, my uterus ruptured for no apparent reason (at the time there was no apparent reason as I had never had any previous abdominal surgery of any kind- but just found out two months ago that I have Vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome at the urging of Dr. Ruchhoft to check into it) and because Dr. Ruchhoft was so good, she saved my life and my son's life. I think they are the best practice around. I delivered at Good Samaritan and believe that that is THE best hospital in the area to deliver in. Their NICU is unparallel to the rest of the delivering hospitals- the only one with a level 3 NICU. And, Cincinnati Children's Hospital doctors also work with or coordinate with Good Sam.- they are the only one with a level 4 NICU. I know first hand because of the awesome care my son received when he was born. He is now 19 months old, and you would never know what a rough delivery he had. I also recovered very well. For Women has an office on the corner of Reading Rd. and Glendale Milford Rd. in Evendale. It takes about 15 minutes to get to from West Chester. If you're interested in contacting them, their number is ###-###-####. Good luck with your quest for a doctor, and feel free to e-mail me with any questions you might have.

Hi, A.!
I also go to Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates. My doctor is Dr. Jerry Goodman and I think he is awesome. I had a baby in April and Dr. Swayze was on call and delivered him. She was great too. So if you prefer a female doctor I think you would be happy with her. I usually try to see Dr. Goodman though. I feel really comfortable with him and he is lot of fun. I hope this helps.

Good luck!

Viktoria

Hi A.,
I love Dr. Mable Roberts, she delivered my two babies and has taken excellant care of me during some serious health issues.
She is with Mason Womens Center, on RT 42 just a little North of Tylserville (right next door to St. Susanna's Church). Her number is ###-###-####, they have offices in Montgomery and Mt. Auburn (next to Christ Hospital) as well. As the wife of a doctor, I highly recommend her. Best of Luck!

There is a group of doctors with two offices (in West Chester and Fairfield) called obstetrics and gynecology associates. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Narendran in that group. I know of many women who see her (myself included) and there is nothing but good things said about her. She's the type of doctor who remembers you and remembers your kids names and remembers things you've talked about at last visits. The phone # is: ###-###-####

I go to a group of Doctors. There are men and female in the practice. They have offices in Fairfield and West Chester. Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates. Their phone number is ###-###-####. When you make the appointment you need to let them know you would like the West Chester office. There are about six female doctors. Could be more or less now. Colleen Swayze, Julia Lee, and Amy Brenner are great choices. Colleen Swayze would be my choice if my doctor is not available. Anyway they are located at 7593 Tylers Place Blvd, #103. It is near Meijers store. Anyway hope i have helped. Oh yea website is www.cincyobgyn.yourmd.com you can look all them up to see who you prefer.

A.,
Welcome to Ohio! Drive over to Fairfield (very close to you) and see Dr. Bowen and his staff of women. He is truly a "midwife in a man's body" and I cannot recommend him enough to you. He works with Christy, who is incredible, as well as the rest of his women staff (a nurse practitioner, etc.) If you specify, you can see the women, but he is just as good. I switched to his practice four days before I delivered my first-born. He supported my desire for a medication-free, natural delivery. I delivered my second so fast that Michelle, who was on call, never even left for the hospital. Since then, for routine check-ups, I see Christy. You can't go wrong with these folks.
Best wishes,
K.

First of all, like the name, lol.

Okay I don't know if you are looking for a group or someone who is an individual. I was with a group and was not happy b/c when you are pregant you are not garenteed to get your dr. when you go into labor. ?Plus I had to reexplain all of my history each time I went in. A friend recommend the dr. I go to now, Dr. Micheal Draznik. He has two offices, one on Mason-Motgomery Road and one downtown on Reading Road he delivers at Christ. His number is ###-###-####. My first child was delivered at Mercy Fairfield and my second at Christ. I was much more pleased with Christ than Mercy.

Mercy is close to you but let me tell you if you deliver there just be aware that they have a horrible nursing staff. Some people are not as bad as others but over all not good. I even have a friend who works the NICU at Childrens who saoid that they are not the best in the area.
She recommended Christ , Good Sam and Bethesda as good hospitals.

Please let me know if this helps. It truly is hard to find a good dr. but when you do you want to hang on ffor dear life.

Oh also if you need a peditrician, Springdale-Mason Pediactricans is a group to go with, their number is ###-###-####. They just happen to have their office in the same building at Drazniks in Mason.
