Our insurance has recently changed to BCBS HMO Advantage. I need to pick a primary care physician for my husband and I. Has anyone seen or heard of Dr. James Wilcox in Barrington or Dan Haller in Crystal Lake?

What can I do next?

I work at good shepherd, both of these MD's come there. Both are very nice and good physicians. I don't think you would go wrong with either one. Haller is older than Wilcox. Any other questions, email me. ____@____.com

Dr. Haller is our primary care physician. My husband has seen him and really likes him/ his communication style (much better than our last pcp in Barrington). I have an appointment with him next week, so I will let you know if I have any additional insight post-appointment.

I like Dr. Lisa Derken and Dr. Brak in Barrington. I never have a problem getting appointments and they don't shoo me out.

Dr. James Wilcox is a wonderful Doctor. He has a great disposition and I am confident you will be comfortable with Dr. Wilcox as your choice:)

Hi J.-

I haven't heard of them, but I go to Lake Shore Pediatrics in BArrington. I absolutely love them and connot say enough good about them! Good luck with your search, I know how difficult it is to find new doctors.
