My left arm hurts, from the shoulder to the hand and at one point my hand got numb but it was just for a few minutes. It seems to help if I put heat on my arm but is not complete ok and it has being hurting for around an hour.
I wasn't resting on it and I really don't think is for a heart attack or stroke since I have no other symptoms, I just wonder if any of you have had this happen and does it has a name?
Thanks.

What can I do next?

Please see a doctor as soon as possible! The symptoms you describe could come from ANY of a wide range of problems -- do not assume it's arthritis or muscle strain or anything else. It could be nothing or it could be serious; we aren't doctors.

And as for being sure it's not your hear -- women tend to wait too late to respond to heart attack symptoms. Our symptons are not as clear as most men's. If you are also experiencing any fatigue or shortness of breath, then yes, this could even be your heart. But there is no way for us to diagnose you. Please see a doctor.

Could be a nerve or over extending, just bout anything. Take sume ibuprofen or aleeve and see it helps, if not go just have it checked. I hope you feel better

If it is a muscle strain, applying ice will bring down the inflamation and help it feel better. Heat is good immediately after the injury but after that, it will aggravate the symptoms. It may be a spinal alignment issue so I would suggest booking an appointment with a chiropractor as soon as you can. My own chiropractor has been a Godsend to me.

Hope your arm feels better soon.
