Idea's/locations for a 3 Year Old's Birthday Party

From the two places you mentioned, I'm assuming you live in the Macomb County area...
We are having my sons 4th Birthday party at Papa Ramono's at 23 and Schoenherr. It's $5 a child and they get a tour of the pizzeria (it's not just a take out place), they get to make their own little bambino pizza's, watch them bake and then of course eat them :) There is no time limit for how long you stay in the dinning area. You can come in early to decorate. And we have one child who is allergic to milk products, so they are even letting us bring in special dough for his pizza. We are having 10 kids and it's only $50 plus drinks. Also, I bought the kids aprons to wear at the pizza place as their gift/grab bag and I am writting their names on them in cool colors. Also, the pizza place gives each child a bag with crayons, coloring book and a coupon for a free bambino pizza on their next visit.
We had his 3 year party at Chuck E Cheese, and even though the kid had a blast, I felt so rushed and the pizza there is horrible, in my opinion.
The bouncy places are great also, but I can't afford another $350 this year for a birthday party.

The Warren Community Center's pool is awesome. If you've never been there, they have a play structure with slides appropriate for little kids, including a zero entry to the water (you walk in like a lake, rather than step down like a pool. The parties are held in a special party room with staff to manage the distribution of pizza (available through the Center) and cake (which you bring). You can hang out there for up to an hour then swim as long as you like. There's an olympic size lap pool, a lazy river (for 48" or taller or little ones with an adult)and a large water slide for the older ones. We had my daughter's 4yo birthday party there and it was huge fun!

You might want to pick up a copy of the January MetroParent magazine? They have a Birthday Party mini magazine insert inside with tons of great party ideas and ads for places to have it!

I think Pump it up is perfect fro 3 yr olds and up! We have been to parties there and I just LOVE how organized they are. IMO you cant go wrong there.......

We just had my 9 year old stepson's birthday at Pump It Up, and it was a lot of fun. He had quite a few younger kids at the party, and they all had a great time.

A word of caution, though. The parents had a great time too, but got pretty beat up. :)
