I'm looking for help on planning a quick last minute trip to Disney World... I'm looking for advice on how to book, where to book, what to book... Do we purchase a package? Do we book flights and hotel separately? It would be my sister and her 6 daughter, my two sons (a 4yr old & a 6yr old) & myself. We are in a budget like most people now-a-days. We have never been there so we need guidance what is a must-see for the kids, what we should avoid, & like what can be a maybe. Do we stay close or do we rent a car. Where to buy or not buy souvenirs? Where eat? I may be asking dumb questions but like I said we have never been there plus I'm sure things are always changing. Our plan is to possibly leave on a Thursday and return on a Sunday. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thnx in advance!

We've been 8 times. I don't know your budget.

We've been for 4 nights and 5 days and spent $7000 and we've been the same amount of time and spent less. It depends on what you want.

I deal directly with the WDW website to plan hotel. We don't do packages. I book air separately. We take a cab to the resort (we always stay at the Polynesion which can be pricey but we love that place and it is on the monorail line), They do have buses to take you to/from airport but who knows how many people will be on it and how long it will take to get to your stop. Taxi is a straight shot and about $80 each way.

Plan character dining in advance.

PM me if you want. There is a ton to do and see and it is a lot of fun.

if you stay on the grounds you won't have to rent a car. they have a bus that will pick you up at the airport. and they have buses that will take you to the different parks if you stay on the grounds. you didn't say when you are planning this trip but the dining plan is a big help. but then you can book in advance character meals for the kids---big hit!! look at the disney website and that can give you alot of help. when we went i booked our trip thru a travel agency and they took care of everything for us!!!
