I am looking for a new pediatrician for my 22 month old son.
I want a pediatrician who does not dismiss my concerns and will at least make an effort on interacting with my child.
I am hoping some of you out there might be able to recommend one and share your thoughts about the office as well.
Thank you so much.

I LOVE my daughters Pedi and the others that work in her office. She too is a mom so has that loving momma bedside manor. She is right across from Harris SW off of Bryant Irvin. Her number is ###-###-####. I also love that she takes newborns into a seperate waiting area so they are not around the kids who are sick and since she is right by the hospital where I had my daughter and Im about to have my son she was there almost immediatly after birth to check on her and came back 2 more times before I ever left the hospital. I had to take my daughter in on an emergency and I ended up seeing another doctor there and she too was a sweetheart as well! The nurses have always been great with my daughter too!

L.,

I use Dr. Angela Gibson - Baylor Cityview - she's Family med and is all of our dr but is WONDERFUL WITH THE BOYS! She doesn't dismiss anything and listens and I can call on the weekend and get a rx if needed and take them in the next week to make sure they're getting better!

My children's pediatrician is AWESOME. He is part of the cook children's physician's network and is located in the child study center (off Lancaster, downtown). He is Dr. Richard LaMere. He shares an office with two other pedi's and a fabulous nurse practioner. My children love to see them, and they always talk to the children before me. They make sure that we know what is going on before we leave. The office number is ###-###-####. Good luck to you.

I am not sure who your pedi is, but I LOVE our pedi, Dr. Frank T. McGehee. I could not ask for a more gentle, loving and caring pedi! He is so fabulous! He is so thoughtful and he has the best bed side manner of any pedi or doctor that I have ever met! His office is by Cook's downtown. The phone number is ###-###-####. Good luck and don't settle. You deserve to have the best care for your little ones!

I really like Dr. Phillips. she is in the Cook's Children's office off of Harris, right across the street from the hospital. We had a pediatrician that we loved and did not want to quit going to, but she's all the way over in Plano. So we started going to Dr. Phillips about a year ago. I have four small children, and she does a great job getting to know the kids and addressing any concerns or medical issues that may arise. I feel like she is very thorough, too. My youngest (who is now 19 months) has had really bad digestive problems over the last few months, and Dr. Phillips was very effective in making sure she didn't have anything more serious, and then solving the problem quickly and safely. Good luck!
