My name is S. and I recently relocated to Dallas, Texas from NY. I am in the process of getting new doctors and need your assistance. I will be switching my health insurance to Pacificare of Texas. I am looking for good pediatricians, OB-Gyn, Gastroenterologist and Family Doctor that accepts my health insurance and that is affiliated with Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. I would appreciate any recommendations and comments on your experiences whether good or bad. Thanks!!

I don't know any Presby MD's, but my Pedi's (I work for them and I use them for my kiddos) all have privileges at Medical City Dallas and Med Center of Plano. I love my family practice doc. He is with Medical Specialist and his name is Jeff Goudreau. He is in his mid 40s and a great diagnostician. He is also easy on the eyes! I have been going to him since he came into the practice. My husband and I have referred him to many friends and we have had no complaints. His number is ###-###-####.
My gyn is Jennifer Freeman ( referral from Dr. Goudrea). She is great as a gyn but I have no experience with her as an ob. Her office is in one of the Presby doctor bldgs. Her number is ###-###-####.
As for what insurance they accept, I cannot answer that question, but a phone call is easy.

My daughter's pedi is Dr. Foster at Pediatric Assoicates of Dallas, right across from Presby. It's a huge group with weekend and weeknight hours. You may not always get your doc, but it's great in an emergency. Also my OB/GYN was Dr. Tillman at Woman's Health Central www.healthcentralobgyn.com in the Margret Perot building, once again, a big group so you can see someone in a pinch. Which is almost always my priority.
The docs at both of the practices are great and many do teaching at UTSW medical school.
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Lombardi. His bedside manner is less than desirable. I would interview him first before you commit to him.
My OB-GYN is located in Presby. He is wonderful! I wish he was my family doctor. Here is his information:

Welcome to Dallas. My OBGYN is Dr. Kelli Culpepper at Medical City Dallas ###-###-####). Seh has excellent bedside manners and has awesome office staff that has been with her for years. I have been her patient for 10 years she is great in both areas, she delivered my first baby and will be delivering my second in Sept. She is awesome they do take various insurance plans. My Family doctor is Dr. Gary Garrett he is also great and he is located within the Baylor Mesquite ###-###-#### he is great and has awesome bedside manners. I hope this is helpful I am sure you will make the best decision on docs.
My pediatrician is Dr. Julian Lacy also located at Baylor Mesquite he is also great with kids and has taken care of my daughter and will be the pediatrician for my newborn in Sept.
