Do you purchase all of your fun patches from GS or do you have a favorite website you use? If you use another website would you please share that with me. I have 17 girls and lots of patches to buy and I just spent 363.00 at GS Shop....Holy Moly!

What can I do next?

Hi I'm a Girl Scout leader, too.I've used this website before and have been satisfied with their patches. (They are reasonably priced, too.)

I know our council's shop occassionally has discounted fun patches. You may want to try shopping at other council stores.

patches are expensive no matter where you purchase them. I can't remember all the websites I looked at but the fun patches didn't seem to be any cheaper. It was the selection that we went for and I do know how expensive it can be. We had 24 in our troop until the girls reached the 5th and 6th grade and our numbers started going down after that. In the early years we took a field trip, activity every month and also earned one to two badges at each meeting or activity... so the troop paid for these. some fun patches we let the girls pay for them. I would just google patches or badges and see what pops up. Sorry that I can't remember specific sites for you.

In my +20 years as a Girl Scout leader, but now a Frontier Girls leader, I have used Design-It.com and Joycrest.com as my main sources. Design-It appears to be reducing their stock, unfortunately, as their prices were the lower of the two. I have recently discovered patchsales.com. Their main stock runs .69 per patch as oppossed to .85 per for JoyCrest.
