Gestational Diabetic Looking for Recipes

I'm gestational diabetic with my second pregnancy ( I was also with my first) and I have a horrible sweet tooth. I'm really being good but I'm looking for recipes that have been tried and proven tasty for traditional pregnancy cravings... like brownies. There are alot of sites out there but the few things I've tried have ended up chocolate colored bricks, or worse. Any help would be great.

What can I do next?

I had GDM with DS as well. I found the American Diabetes Assoc. website helpful.

I also found a couple excellent cookbooks. I would suggest browsing over them at your library or bookstore so you could find ones tailored to your own tastes or other nutrition issues.

Go to Walgreens, they have a free magazine for diabetics.

I know that www.discoveryhealth.com has many recipes. They are actually doing the national body challenge right now and they exclusively have diabetic recipes. Hope that helps!!
