We have a wedding to attend and my 15 month old needs a haircut. Nothing major just a trim. I've tried but he keeps moving plus since it doesn't grow very fast I don't want to mess is up and have him look goofy. Does anyone know of a good place to take him or any ideas to help.
Well we went to get the haircut at Dolittle's. They were great. My son on the other hand was not. Cried the whole time. Not uncommom I guess. Thanks everyone for the info. He looks so much better.

We used Snip-Its for kids at Birkdale Village. They charge about the same as Great Clips and you get a great experience! They are very careful, and have a little toddler type tv show for the baby to look up at. You receive the 'first-curl' in a baggie with a certificate for the first haircut visit. Was worth it for us. I take my 2 1/2 to Doolittles at Stonecrest. It's just for kids and they have cute little chairs (ducks, firetrucks etc) for them to sit in. They also have a tv on every station and play cartoons. It's $16 for a haircut, but the experience makes it worth it. They also make a big deal for the child's first haircut; they take a picture and save some hair for you. They also have a huge selection of cute hair bows and stuff.

Depending on where you are in Charlotte, those are probably 2 of you better options! Doolittles is in south Charlotte and Snip Its is in Huntersville. Good luck and I hope you have a great time at the wedding!
Dolittles at Stonecrest is awesome. They have TV's with cartoons and fun shaped chairs. They do the picture and hair clip thing for you to take home. You can bring in your own cameras as well. If I remember is was around $15, not too bad for the first haircut! They are very good with children. Good luck....
