Does anyone know of a good place to get my daughter's first birthday picture done. I usually go to JC Penney for her portraits, but I want to have the number one in her picture. I know it's cheesey but I saw it done before.
Since you have some time and you seem to be happy with the quality of JC Penney in the past, why don't you go to AC Moore or another large craft store and get a wooden #1. You can paint it whatever color you like, that might match her dress or outfit then have her hold it.
You can also buy stencils and cut out a foam number if that is easier or you can't find a wooden one.
We moms have to get creative!

I got both my boys first birthday picture done at Kiddie Kandids, not sure exactly where you are but I am in south jersey and there is one inside the babiesrus in cherry hill and deptford. They have really large wooden blocks with numbers on them.

My granddaughter had her first birthday portraits done at sear portrait studio, she had the number one in her picture plus numerous other poses, she was even sick on the that day, but they did a good job, you wouldn't even know she was sick on that day, they had her smiling and laughing and the pictures turned out marlvous.hope this helps.
I agree with Jen..... i've gone to kiddie Kandids everytime i've taken my son and they are great there!
