Hello ladies, I am back again and still not pregnant. I had the Mirena IUD removed at the end of March and had a period that started on April 12. Didn't get another until May 17 and now I am late again. I'm not pregnant (took a test today), but I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long it took them to get a regular cycle after having Mirena removed? My first child took no time to conceive and I know this one is going to be a pain.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, everyone I had a lot of concerns on trying to conceive but I guess I was just over reacting. I am now 8 weeks pregnant and I will swear by the Mirena IUD again. It took me only 3 months to get pregnant and we were so excited. Thank you everyone for all of your advice.

If you don't mind me asking, how are you going about trying to get pregnant? I'd assume that if you're having a period, you're also ovulating. My advice is to count days. It took me two weeks to get pregnant the first time and six months the second time. I'm pretty sure it was all about timing.

Good luck! I'm sending you prego vibes ; )

I am not sure about the IUD, but I know that it can take 6 months to 1 year to get back on track after birth control is stopped. Don't worry that you haven't concieved yet. Remember, too, it takes the average couple a year of trying to get pregnant. Stressing out over it can make it even harder to concieve. Relax and enjoy trying. Best of luck with your efforts.

I am not sure about with Mirena, but I used birth control pills and when we decided to get pregnant, it took us 4 months to conceive. I know you are very anxious, but try not to get discouraged. You will be pregnant in no time!

Hi!!! I can't say anything about the IUD, but it did take me 6 years to concieve mt 1 1/2 year old. We new it would take a while to concive again, so we have been trying for 2 months now with no luck. Just try to be patient and know it will work out! Good luck!!!! ~T.
