I was wondeing if anyone has tried the prescription cream for facial hair removal. Does it work? Would it be better for people with hormonal imbalances or would laser treatment be better?

Have you tried Nair Hair Removal for the face? They sell this at Walmart, Walgreens, etc. and I find it easy on the skin and does great on removing facial hair.
My dermatologist offered me Vaniqa, but essentially said:
-Treat the hormone imbalance, reduce the number of vellus (light, normally non visible) hair follicles turning into terminal (dark, thick) hair follicles.
Common drugs to treat the hormone imbalances/androgen suppresents (you probably already know) are:
BCP's such as Yaz, Yasmin, or the generic Ocella
Spironolactone
(I just noticed in your past asked questions that you probably have a hormone imbalance not related to hirsutism- so I have NO idea if either of the above treatments would be effective).
-After the imbalance is taken care of, go for laser, because your insurance isn't going to pay for the cream anyway.
I tried Vaniqua, but it burns and I kept forgetting to put it on twice a day so it really didn't help. I am now on my 4th Laser treatment (Smooth Solutions) and it is wonderful. I am so glad that I chose to do it!!!! I can't wait to have it done on my bikini line ;-)
i had try one cream but it burns after you use it look for laser treatment
