Hi Moms! I'm looking for an eye cream that will help with wrinkles as well as moisterizes at the same time. I'm having a difficult time trying to conquer dark eye circles and putting on concealer w/o making the fine lines pop out? Does this make sense? I would like it to look more natural..but I'm thinking that I would need a good eye cream? Any suggestions? Thanks to all in advance.

I am a Mary Kay consultant because I LOVE the product and the Timewise line is awesome. There are 2 eye creams that are great for wrinkles, brightening eyes, etc. and there is a new product for dark circles under the eyes, it is called the TimeWise® Targeted-Action® Eye Revitalizer. If you know a consultant contact them. I have a website if you don't have a consultant and I ship anywhere in the US free shipping. www.marykay.com/skmoore

I have yet to find an eye cream that works better than plain old Vitamin E oil. I rub a drop under each eye at bedtime. It's very inexpensive, a small bottle lasts forever and the skin under my eyes is no longer dry and papery. I also haven't needed as much concealer as the dark circles are not as noticeable.

BTW it works great on softening and minimizing scars as well.

Hi MC,
I usually don't chime in on these since I'm an AVON consultant and try not to use this site to promote my business, but after reading the other posts I wanted to make an important point. Skin types vary greatly from person to person and change as we age, so what works for one person may not work for another. It's not like recommending a house painter. :o) Your best bet is to try things out until you find what works for you. Remember daytime creams with spf are very important even for eyes.

AVON has several different eye creams/gels for different skin types and needs. The Anew line alone has four kinds targeted for differing age groups and skin needs. AVON has a full botanical line as well for those that prefer it.

If you don't have someone locally to you, you are welcome to check out my website at www.youravon.com/jselden. I usually have a free shipping code available so you can have your order shipped directly to your door without paying extra.

Whatever product/brand you ultimately decide to go with, give it at least 2 weeks to see results. Also, don't give up if the first thing you try doesn't work. Sometimes it takes a little time to find what works best for the unique and wonderful creation that is you! :o)

We have our own research and development department producing some of the best available skin care products on the market (most of them patented). Hi MC L,

The dark circles are coming from within your body. Are you getting good nutrition and supplementing with you are not getting? A lot of times your liver is toxic and that is why you see people with dark under their eyes.

You have to be careful with creams and lotions that you put on your face and skin because lots of them have Parabens in the product to preserve it. It is a carcegenic. You may google Parabens on line and get more info.

I see that a healthy program will help build your energy back up along with good nutrition the dark circles will go away.

I have also been using this great skin care line that is certified organic without parabens and it is 95% plant base.

If you would like a sample of it give me your address and I will send it. Most of the products on the market are not certified they say organic, that means there is one ingredient in the product and that gives them permission to put organic on the label.

I am a hairstylist and a wellness consultant.

If you would like more info let me know.

Happy Easter.

For something simple to find (Target, Walgreens, supermarket) I recommend the Garnier products. They are affordable approx $13 for a small container, but eye gel/creams last a long time. Plus, you can find coupons and sales for this brand.

I am noticing they work (currently using the facial wash, eye cream and moisturizer). Not only that, I have been using them about 6 - 8 months and am getting compliments on my skin from my sister, who is such a busy person, I am surprised she even noticed!

Hi-
I love estee lauder. The blue jar. It's hydra bright. I am including the link (copy and paste) for the whole set. YOu get a full sized moisturizer, cleanser, skin tone thingy, and the eye gel cream for $45. There is free shipping, too. AND, you can check out the freebie page and choose two freebies of choice to add to your order. It's very cool. I wasn't sure I would like it, but the moisturizer has made a difference in my skin and the eye cream is both a gel and cream to moisturize and lift. The key to great skin is diligence- and don't over do it.
http://www.esteelauder.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=C...
A cheaper option that I also like is oil of olay- but it adds up quickly. I like the regenerist foam cleanser and the tinted moisturizer. I hate putting on foundation, but my skin is not even enough to go 100% natural, so my compromise is tinted moistureizer. L'oreal also makes great skin care ( i use the pink ones because I have dry-er skin). And for the cheapest route, Cover girl makes a tinted moisturizer that I tried- from under eyes to chin- and my skin looks pretty good.
Another way to conquer circles- get a spoon and put it in the freezer. When it is cold, gently press it onto your under eyes. It should reduce any swelling and pull the yuck out from under your eyes. Then follow up with an eye brightening cream or moisturizer. I would, in my opinion, steer clear of under eye concealers. They all sink into your fine lines and make you look older up close. ANd then washing that delicate area can cause it to age more through the constant action of cleansing and covering.
I hope this helps!
I have just tried ALOT of products and have been using eye cream since I was 12. I had a thing for cosmetics, and since I wasn't allowed makeup, I started in the skin care.
Mary Kay is also pretty good, but sometimes the ladies are over zealous in how much makeup a person should really be wearing. But they have great eye creams and tinted moisturizer. So does avon- anew intensive. You can find a local rep by googling avon.

Good luck!
-E. Mc

Hi~
I have 2 that I really like! I am an Independant Consultant for Arbonne International, an amazing Health and Wellness Company. Our skin care products are results driven, meaning yes! you can absolutely diminish wrinkles and dark circles! The best part is that the products are Swiss formulated, using only pure and safe, botanically based ingredients.
If you would like to send me your address I will be happy to send you samples ~
The baby products are wonderful too, no chemicals or fragrances. I can also include a sample of them if you wish.
Can't hurt to try, you might really like the result :)
I tried everything out there for my tired puffy eyes and then was so glad to discover Arbonne's eye cream through a friend, that I decided to help others find it too..
W/B, I'll send it right out ~ Enjoy, T.

I have very sensitive skin and have tried lots of eye cremes out there. The best one I have found is the Arbonne NutriMinC Anti-aging eye creme. It is great for wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles. I loved it so much that I started a home based business with Arbonne. If you are interested in a sample I would of course be more than happy to send you one(www.linabean.myarbonne.com or you can go to Arbonne's website (www.arbonne.com) and find another consultant. Either way it is nice that you can try the product before buying and it really is amazing stuff. Good luck in your search.

i have the mary kay cream, but am not "wowed" by it. it wasn't that expensive and it does work for some people, just not me. the garnier products work well in my opinion (i like the roller applicator of their eye gel) and are easily available at any store! the only thing i can tell you from experience is to keep hydrated & wear sunblock!

I would have to agree with Mary Kay items. I have been using them for years, the Timewise Line, and I just added the Eye cream. I was using a gel for a while, and that was great for tired, puffy eyes, but I needed more moisture. I have very dry skin and just started noticing it on my eyes and wrinkles :-) I'd give Mary Kay a try (it's quite reasonably priced and it lasts) and like some of the other posts I've read...whatever you try give it a good shot for a couple of weeks and don't be afraid to try another if it doesn't work! Good luck :-)

Hi Tired Mom,
you MUST try the ANTI-AGE Multi-Function Eye Cream from Rodan + Fields Dermatologists(used to be at Nordstrom for 5 years) -- it is absolutely the best product out there especially for the price!
This product is included in "Lucky Magazine's" article on Skin Miracle Workers.
It has all the advanced MULTI-peptide technology as well as builds and repairs collagen to make your skin look younger!
It helps with crow’s feet, dark under-eye circles, and puffiness in clinical studies, hydrates and moisturizes the delicate eye area plus it addresses lines and wrinkles at the same time! The jar will last you at least 6 months if used morning and night.
I got introduced to the REVERSE line at Nordstrom's for my sun damage/ dark spots and then became "hooked" on this fabulous line that I started to distribute it just to get my products at a discount.
All the Rodan + Fields Dermatologist(creators of Proactiv) products are 100% empty bottle, money back guarantee. I have tried so many lines out there and this is one of the best.

One thing... being a makeup artist by trade, TREAT your problems - DON'T conceal them! So use products that will help reduce fatigue and darkness instead of opting to cover them up. : ) Drink plenty of water too, this will help along with a great eye cream!
Please feel free to contact me at ____@____.com for more info.
wishing you all the best at looking and feeling fabulous!

Featured in Lucky Magazine's" article on Skin Miracle Workers. - pretty amazing stuff!

I read all the reply’s and thought the best one was Nina’s I do think that great nutrition and supplementing is very important that’s why I got involved with Vemma (www.DrinkSupplements.com). I too am a consultant for Suzanne Somers who has merged with Youngevity (www.Suzanne-Youngevity.com) and she has a great eye cream I have been using and have been very happy with along with her spray on makeup. Here is what Suzanne has to say: Item #: SZBE1018 Anti-Aging Therapy - Intensive Eye Cream. Our eyes show the first signs of aging and this is my secret weapon. Combining skin-firming botanicals with Accufirm Plus™, this cream targets fine lines, puffiness and dark circles around the eyes while you get your beauty sleep.
Hope you find what you are looking for, I know I did. Good Luck!

Hi there

I do like Dr. Hauschka skin care. a bit on the pricey side, but you don't need too much,
i love the rose cream for face and under eyes. it's rich and doesn't take much .. also SUKI products which are all natural and can be bot along with Hauschka at whole foods.. again, pricey but I have found effective. esp the rose cream. what I like about it is that it's not greasy but at the same rich in emollient.
also, I have heard that if you put the foundation on first and then the concealer, supposedly this is suppose to wk better.. saw it on some beauty show..

I have never had this problem but after my second child, 21 months now, my mother would say I looked tired alot. I am noticing more puffiness under my eyes these days. I use to utilize Shisedo just to keep the undereyes moisturized which may be the reason that my eyes are holding up so well. When I started getting comments that I looked tired, I started using Lancome Anti-Wrinkle, Eye Refreshener (said I would try it because it is not quite as expensive as Shisedo). For a little over a month, I have been cleansing underneath my eye with Shisedo Cleansing Water and then applying the Lancome at night. It is working great. I look more awake and refreshed.

Remember, you cannot apply to much pressure or overly stress the tissues under your eyes. Make sure when applying creams and such that you take it easy on the eyes. Good luck.
