I have 5 or 6 over ripe bananas. Besides banana bread and muffins, are there any other yummy recipes that I can use them for? Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

Banana milk/smoothie. Blend the banana with milk and ice if you want. It is great for the kids (or you) for breakfast or a healthy snack.

mmm banana pancakes. pinterest.com is your best bet. banana pudding mmmm.

i usually make a bunch of pancakes (wheat, with sweet potatoes, flax seeds) place them on waxed paper and in a freezer zip lock bag to toss in the toaster on busy mornings! it works great. like frozen waffles but pancakes. idk how the bananas would hold up to the freezer.

we recently made chocolate covered banana pops. you can slice them thickly and dip them in chocolate for bite sized treats. its yummy.

Slice them up and freeze them. Once frozen, use a food processor and keep scraping the sides down. It takes a while, but it turns into an ice cream type of dessert! You can add peanut butter or cocoa powder/chocolate syrup, or any mix in you would like in ice cream. You can eat it as is or let it firm up a bit in the freezer for later. Yum!

Go to foodtv.com and look for a recipe for banana brioche bread pudding. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks delicious! I would probably add chocolate chips too :-)
