Doctor Referrals Needed

I use Dr. Sevilla with Wakefield Pediatrics and he is great. He has been our doctor since 2001. We recommend him highly. He is very patient and has been wonderful with my kids. I take my kids to Kelly Eye center right beside Wakefield Peds also (both are located off New Falls of Neuse). My doctor is with Village Family Care off Rogers Rd in WF. I highly recommend Dr. Tom Weber and Jenna Hoh (p.a.). I have known Dr. Weber for over 15 years and trust him with my life.

Hi S., I use Centre OB/GYN - they are good. We really like our ped. drs. at Raleigh Children & Adolescent Medicine. Both of these have sites you can look at on-line, but I don't have the info off of the top of my head. We really like our ped. dentist too ... but he is in Cary. That may be too far for you to go.

Pediatrician - Raleigh Peds, Falls Valley Rd at Falls and 540, EXCELLENT
OB/GYN - Kamm, McKenzie, Harden, Smith, Bass, etc, also at Falls Valley. EXCELLENT
GI - Triangle GI - I saw Doshi, not highly recommended on him specifically, try another doc in that practice though
GP - Pizzino (female), very thorough! Good for GP.
ENT - my husband uses Raleigh ENT, has been happy, no complaints

I like Wake Forest pediatrics. Dr. Dirk is our guy. For allergy, I take my son to Duke allergy in Durham because he has a rather severe and complicated allergic condition. But I'm guessing that you could find someone decent closer to home. My doctor is Dr. Grace Tang of Duke Family Medicine here in Wake Forest. She has a rather laid back style, but is extremely smart. My son's dentist is Dr. Michael Fleming in Durham. We make the drive because Dr. Fleming has a more wholistic approach to dentistry and his office is latex-free. For our situation, he is a very good fit. My own dentist is Dr. Dearstyne here in Wake Forest. Nice guy, but I don't have much basis for comparison. Sorry I can't help you with the others. Oh -- my husband goes to a GI doctor named Dr. Aaron Woofter. He's with Duke. His office is in Raleigh. My husband has Barrett's Esophagus and Dr. Woofter did his endoscopy. Not sure if Woofter is more of a GI surgeon or a regular GI guy. But he's very nice, quite young, and seems more than competent.

We also have BC/BS PPO.

Welcome to the Triangle! You are in a familiar boat. I'm a SAHM of 3 kiddos. Never a dull moment at our house.

Here are some recommendations I'd like to pass along:

ENTs are a dime a dozen around this area. My kids have had issues with tubes, tonsils and adenoids along with allergies. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Brown at Capitol ENT. They do have a Wake Forest office: ###-###-#### http://www.capitolent.net/ (They also have audiologists and speech therapists, should you need either of those services.) I recently saw Dr. Brown with a sinus infection.

Another good ENT is Dr. Clarkson at Raleigh ENT: ###-###-####. Dr. Clarkson performed a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on our youngest daughter in 2003- great personal follow-up and care. Dr. Clarkson is wonderful with kids. http://www.raleighent.net/

We recently had BCBS PPO- for eye care, we went to Eye Care Associates: ###-###-####. We see Dr. Briggs at Cameron Village. She has been great with our whole family. For GYN, I highly recommend Mid Carolina OB/GYN: ###-###-####; http://www.midcarolinaobgyn.com/. I've seen Dr. Inge for 7-8 years. He has a good yet quirky sense of humor, keeps things light. I have always had time to get answers to any questions or concerns I have. Good support staff, too.
