Do FisherPrice Healthy Care Booster Seats Fit on Dining Chairs with Padded Seats

I have borrowed one of these while visiting someone and I love them and want to get one to replace my standard high chair at home. But I don't know if they will strap on to a dining chair with a padded (upholstered) seat. The chair the friend's booster was used on away from home had a flat, wooden seat. Thanks!

What can I do next?

From my experience with booster seats it is not usually about the seat of the chair (padded or not). It can be about the shape of the back of the chairs. If the shape is curved the straps may tend to slipe up and we ended up wrapping the strap around a slat before buckeling.

I have a Fisher Price booster seat, and padded dinig room chairs (only the seat) and it fits great! The straps that go around back and underneath adjust till they are super long, so it should work okay. (I don't remember if mine is the Healthy Care or not. Mine is the one that has a lime green seat back and straps, and a removable dishwasher tray)

We have a FP highchair that attaches to our padded dining room chair, no problem. The straps are adjustable. Only the seat is padded, not the back of the chair, though, in case that makes a difference. I do like using that one so we don't have more space taken up with a freestanding highchair, since we have a smaller dining room. Hope that helps!

Usually these booster chairs have long enough straps that they will secure to any chair. My parents have very thick padding on their formal dining chairs and I'm always able to attach our booster to them with no problem. You should be just fine.
