Hi there.. I am looking for an internist or diabetic specialist in the Watauga/Keller area. I just moved back to Texas from South Carolina and need to find a new doc. I have a terrible time with my diabetes and need to get it under control soon! Our insurance kicks in next month sometime. Thanks ladies...

I am a diabetes educator and dietitian. I am not familiar with any diabetes specialists in the Watauga/Keller area, but there are 2 excellent endocrinologists in SW Fort Worth- Dr. Darren Lackan and Chris Bajaj. My husband is also diabetic. He goes to Dr. William Drake in Grapevine. He is located right by Baylor. My husband absolutely recommends him! He is a family practitioner who specilaizes in metabolic disorders. He himself is also diabetic, so he is knowledgable on a personal level. The office is called North Country Family Practice.

There is an endocrinologist in Ft Worth, Dr. Bajaj. He is a super nice man. I see him for my Hypothyroidism. They do specialize in diabetes!
Hi Becki, I work for a great God fearing Doctor that is an internal Med. M.D. He is on the west side of Ft.Worth off Green Oaks Rd. by Ridgmar mall. off of highway 30. He has alot of time and care for people with diabetes. Your first visit with him is an hour long. The # is ###-###-#### monday to friday 9-4:30. I know its a drive but well worth it. Plaza Internal Medicine is the name of the clinic. I hope we accept your insurance.
