I am in a desperate situation. My daycare provider backed out on me at the last minute and now I am without childcare for my infant and my husband and I need to work. We are looking for an in home daycare that has immediate openings for an infant. We would prefer it be in Southeast/South Minneapolis, but we are open to Eagan and Bloomington as well. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know.

I'm in the same boat. My day care provider's husband lost his job and they are moving up north next week. Do you have a flexable schedule? Maybe we can help eachother out. I'm off wed and thursdays and my husbands off sat and sun.

I would suggest calling your county office. They will have a list of the in home daycare providers in your area that are licensed.
If you can find a responsible teen that you know in the meantime to help out or a friend that doesn't work the same hours as you, that would give you some time to investigate your options.
