My children are 5 and 3, and their cousins are older and can't play with them, so they don't have many kids around them, it would be great to meet other moms and have the kids be friends.

I would highly suggest contacting one of the early childhood pta's in your area. They are designed for children up to 5 years of age normally. They offer playgroups, coffees, mom's night out, volunteer opportunities, monthly speakers at the meetings, etc, etc, etc. The annual fees are usually under $40, and worth every penny.
