Bowl Haircut-HELP!

My husband took my daughter to get her haircut and ended up with a bowl look. I have no idea what he was thinking, but am wondering if there is any way to salvage it. It's pretty short (chin length maybe). Anyone out there know hair? Could we layer it and bring it back to this era?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks, I'll try to take her back this week. I hate to pay again for what was really a nightmare to begin with, but this is my husband's fault, not the stylists. Luckily my daughter is only three so she could care less what she looks like. But I've already told Dad he has lost his haircut rights permanently!

Oh boy...maybe they can do a wedge cut, so the back is really short, and then the front is angled longer.

No more unaccompanied trips to the salon for daddy :)

hi LEP.
I can totally emphathize as i remember a bad hair cut my mom took me too...from what i remember:
1. please tell your daughter that she looks beautiful no matter what.
2. find ways with ribbons or combs or headbands to make the cut work for now.
3. try please not to make a big deal so that she will not be self conscious of herself. mistakes happen and we can make the best of them and still be happy and pretty. I wish my mom had taught me that better.
with love, Jilly

I looked like that a year and a half ago. I found a new stylist and just paid. It was ridiculous, but well worth it.

I vote also for the angled bob, with the back shorter, the sides tapered, and maybe some layers thrown in if they can. And Dad is off haircut duty permanently. But get some pics first, so he will always have a reminder.

Layer it! And a tip for moms: Never allow "him" to take kids for haircuts!

I am thinking she must like kind of cute. Maybe not were you were expecting but it will grow. Don't let her see your disappointment. I would
tell her she looks absolutely beautiful!
