Birthday Ideas for SD?

I want to do a little something special for my SD's upcoming b-day.
She's a teenager. She does not drive yet but she's in high school.
She's into iTunes & her computer. She has sports in school.
I don't have much $ but I want to make her day special.
She's going through a rebellious age (she's acting out towards me even though I've been in her life since she was 3).
So I want her to feel loved. I made her a video montage of pictures of her mom, dad, sibling, grandparents, me, her special
events etc.
For her special day, I thought we'd take her to her favorite restaurant, I'd buy her one of those tiny mini cakes (she's very good
about her diet for sports so no fattening stuff), decorate the house a little (not too much like I used to as that would make her feel like a little girl), a couple of presents just from me, a card etc.

Can you think of anything else for that day? Just something I can do at the house for her that day. Not an outing or event. She will get home late that night. Any other ideas? Your ideas for her gifts have been great so far! TIA

What can I do next?

Is there any chance you could sign her into school late that morning? In which case, maybe take her out for breakfast or just let her get a little extra sleep! That would cost nothing and would be a really "cool" treat from you!

Maybe something fun like cover her doorway in crepe paper or fill her room full of balloons. ~If you think she would like this anyway. :)

Send her flowers to school?

is she a heavy sleeper? Maybe you could blow up 30 or so balloons and cover her bedroom floor with them while she is sleeping?

You can give her your own mani-pedi. She may feel that much more specials because you are doing it. Not to mention it would be good if there is sore feet involved. She would love that I am almost sure. Let her pick out a color and there you have it!

Good Luck!!

I think that's very sweet of her. I might ask her what movie she'd like to share and get some nice treat if she wants it or ask her if she wants to share the movie with a friend. Or maybe make her favorite breakfast in bed?

How about decorating her bathroom mirror with birthday wishes? She'll probably see that first thing in the morning!!
