I am a married mom of a 2 1/2 year old boy. I new to Avondale, I have lived in Arizona for 4 years though but don't know anyone still. I need to get my son playing with other kids his age so he can better his social skills and learn how to share better. Does anyone know of any playgroups in or around Avondale? Please help.

Hi A.. I'm not sure of any play groups in your area. However, I have a 4 year old girl and a 2 1/2 year old boy. So, I thought that maybe we could try to coordinate a time to get the boys together. Austin (my son) has a lot of energy. it might be nice to have him play some of it off. By the way my daughter's name is Casey. And I live in Buckeye...Avondale isn't too far away for us. My name is A. and I live in Avondale. I have a 17 month old and my best friend who also lives in Avondale has a 18 month old. I don't know of any play groups, but I do know that in the West Valley Paper (it just comes automatically) there are lists of them under things to do! If that doesn't work out for you, maybe (even though your son's a little older) we could meet up and just see if our children will be compatible on each others level of play?! I also know a few other mom's in this area with kids in the same age range as ours, who knows, maybe we could just form our own play group?!
