I am looking for someone to do my makeup for my wedding day. I need this person to come to the church to do it. The church is in O'fallon, just behind Walmart. It would just be mine I think, maybe one other person but I doubt it. Around 2:30pm, I am looking for someone who actually does makeup and has all the supplies (makeup) to bring with them. My wedding is on Saturday October 6.
Having been in several weddings, I've had friends who used a Mary Kay Consultant. Just a thought, if you know one! They have samples of everything, and that way it's sanitary.
another place to look for makeup artists is at theknot.com. look for the local forum for St. Louis. you would have to create a profile to make a posting. i would suggest you include your price range also.
Another option is a department store makeup counter. I believe they are usually free but as a courtesy you should buy a lipstick or compact - something you could use throughout the day for touchups.
also, if you have time, i highly suggest having a trial run. If i had used the first person that i contacted for my wedding day make up and hair, i would have been devastated with the results!
btw, i used Michelle Hermann at Salon Bascha in UCity/Clayton. She came to my location and was fabulous! that was 2 years ago tho, so i don't know if she's still there.
