Hello Ladies, once again I'm here just wondering your thoughts and interested in seeing what information you have on waiting to Vaccinate and if anyone knows of good resources in regards to this matter, I have done some research. My little guy got all of his 2 month shots except Hep. B and I wanted to do some research before going back for his 4 month check up and shots. If you personally have waited to vaccinate your child I'm just interested in what schedule you followed??? Have a blessed day ~ K. T =)

What can I do next?

Hello K.,

The choice about vaccinations is something very personal. I encourage you to educate yourself & consider your child's personal exposure & risk.

This is the book I have:
The Vaccine Guide: Risks & Benefits for Children & Adults (Neustaedter, 2002). The research is a little outdated now, but it has a good list of pros & cons of each vaccine.

Another book that seems worth reading, although I cannot speak about it's content since I have not read it yet, is:
The Vaccine Book (Sears, 2007). This is newer & I know Dr. Sears offers an alternate vaccine schedule in his book.

Good luck.
L.

Because I've had so many problems with my children when they were vaccinated, I've waited with my younger ones. They are now 5 and 7 and I'm looking to get them vaccinated this summer. I'm thinking about speading them out a lot. I'm only giving them tenanus and polio.

What your doctor wont tell you about childhood vaccine by Stephanie Cave has a delayed schedule. Unfortunetley I believe even this schedule has damaged my sons intestinal tract and I am no longer vaccinating him. If your child is has digestive problems I strongly encourage you to wait til he's 2 to finish vaccinations or not at all but do your research and make a informative decission before you continue no matter what you choose to do.
