Advice on Choosing Pediatrician in Boynton Beach Area

We used to see Dr. Marcus when he and Dr Lance Goodman were in a practice together at West Side Pediatrics in Boca. Then, Dr. Goodman left to go to a smaller and less "factory" type of practice and Marcus went with Pediatric Associates. At Ped. Associates, you get a beeper and wait until forever to be seen. Not for me, but Dr. Marcus is a fine doctor.

However... I can't highly recommend enough Dr Lance Goodman and his partner Dr Hedi Cohen who are in a smaller practice called Pediatric Partners in Boca. The longest I have ever waited is 10 minutes and they always spend time with us to talk... I would drive the extra 10 minutes (I live in Boynton too!) because I always know won't be waiting long and someone who cares will be seeing us and spending time talking instead of rushing out the door to the next 100 patients. I have never heard of Lori Miller, but you are SO SMART to ask around for opinions!
Whatever doctor you end up with, I sincerely hope you are as thrilled as we have been. Seriously, Dr Goodman called me EVER DAY for a week at home to check on my daughter when she broke her leg... who does that anymore?? Anyway... Good Luck!! Go with your gut and try to meet the doctors for a consult first, if you have the time (like any of us have time, haha :)

Hi M.! Congratulations on your pregnancy! What an exciting time! We live out in Wellington, and see Dr. Santiago at Pediatric Associates. She also practices in Boynton. I am not sure where their office is there. I LOVE Dr. Santiago. We choose not to vaccinate our daughter, and she is 100% respectful of our decision. She has young children of her own, so she really exudes that mom vibe. She is very sweet and truly cares about the kids. The wait time is terrible in the Royal Palm office..I am not sure about Boynton. The girls there gave me the tip to ask for the 1st appointment after lunch..and that gets us through quicker. We use Dr Marcus, LOVE him. He is great with my child and is a great doctor. It is a busy practice, so sometimes you wait, sometimes you don't. There are appointment times that are better than others. I would definitely recommend him.

I can only speak of Dr. Kris because I do not know the other doctors. I have been seeing Dr. Kris since my son was born (now 15 months). He has been great with us. He is a little dry, but he is a thorough doctor and truly cares about my son. I was very concerned about the MMR shot and Dr. Kris is willing to work with parents to make a plan for the family. He takes as much time as needed with you when you are there and you don't feel rushed. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Kris. I hope this helps you.

We've been going to Dr. Kris at the Seacrest Office for 2 years and are happy with him. Also, everyone else at the office is always very nice. We have never had to wait exceptionally long either. Good luck.

My son used to see Dr. Kris and I really like him, however, his office staff forced me to find another pediatrician as they were very rude and could care less about customer service. I found the office to be dirty and outdated. It is a real shame because I thought Dr. Kris was a great doctor. I am currently seeing Dr. Suzanne Pavlou who I love! She is also a mom of 2 children and her office is the cleanest I've ever seen another peds office to be. She is great with my son and I definitely recommend her. She is located at 1325 Congress Avenue (just north of Woolbright Rd). Good luck!
