I am looking for a jumperoo for my almost 6 month son. He LOVES to kick and stand and he is about to grow out of his bouncer so I want to buy him something new that will keep him happy. I have found that other mom's are the best source of info so please share what you bought your child and why. Thanks!!!!!

What can I do next?

My 4 month old son loves the Rainforest Jumperoo by Fisher Price. In fact, he is bouncing away as we speak!

My daughter loved her Evenflo Smart Steps exersaucer. It was pricey but it was a gift. Unfortunately she learned to crawl 2 days after she turned 6 months and refused to be confined after that. I recommend a used one since they don't use them very long. My daughter only used hers for 2 months and it was $100. I also have friends that used the Rainforest Jumparoo and their kids loved it.

I would look on craigslist for a used one since he won't use it for long. I just sold mine on there and the going rate seems to be $30 ... much better than new. My daughter loved hers, but was walking by 10 months so it was short lived.

I have a jumparoo I was fixing to put on craigslist my son only used it for a couple of months. I would not suggest paying full price for one they just outgrow way to fast. I live in North Fort Worth so it maybe to far for you to travel, but let me know if you interested.

My son love love loved his jumperoo. It was good because I could put him in it and cook dinner, etc. and he would just bounce away. There's also the kind that fits in the door jam. Either one is good imo.

Definitely invest in the jumperoo! We have the rainforest one (I think its Fisher Price) and my 4 month old loves it...and has for the past couple of months! He loves to look at all the bright colors and chew on this blue bug that comes out of the tray. The music is motion activated, and we crack up when my son will notice that the music stopped (because he's chewing on the bug!) and he'll reach his hand over and hit one of the toys to make it go again! Most of the time though, he's jumping so high in it!!
Ours is a stand alone. The door jam ones made me nervous that the bungee cords could break loose...but I'm a big worrier!!
Hope he has fun!

My son loved his Jumperoo but outgrew it really fast. I would try to find one used if you can because it is a big expense when they outgrow them so quickly. The one thing I would recommend is the Around-We-Go Exersaucer type activity center. That lasted much longer for us since he felt he was still mobile even though he was just running around in circles in it.
