3 Year Old Girl Birthday Party Ideas

My daughter is turning 3 years old in February, and we would like to have a small party for her outside of our house. I prefer to NOT be in charge of entertaining a group of 3 year olds with party games! :-) I was thinking about a gym somewhere that might have an open play time and allow parties; do any of you know of a place like that somewhere in Johnson County? She has about 5 friends to invite, so I don't want to spend a lot of money on a place like Pump it Up or Monkey Bizness in the Great Mall. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Have you checked out the Blue Valley Rec. center on 151st? They have a great gym, party room. The staff is soooo friendly, and the facility is kept very clean. We've done dancing, gymnastics and swimming there and have never had a problem.

Good luck and happy birthday to your little girl!

Merriam Community Center/Irene B. French (they changed the name) at Merriam Dr./Johnson Dr. rents out their Indoor play gym for $40. minimum 1 1/2 hrs. (double check on that time) I almost had my sons 3rd birthday there, but couldn't get the day and time I wanted. I'll just have to call earlier next year! Otherwise, it was a great deal! Call for details, ###-###-####

We did my daughters birthday party at McDonalds. They did everything and it was VERY reasonable. All the kids get their choice of happy meal and drink. They provide the cake and ice cream. It was great because the kids would play in the playplace between items served.

I can't say enough good things about the Party Barnd. I feel that the cost is very reasonable. You rent the entire rom for $50 for two hours than it is an additional $3 a kid. You are allowed to bring in your own/food drink.

I also think that Little Gym in Olathe has reasonable party rates and could customize the party for the kids.

There is also my MyGym, but I don't know much about them.

Good luck!
