My son is turning 3 in June. I'm looking for on-location party ideas that aren't outrageously expensive. Any suggestions?

Check out Grisham Farms. We've used them to come out to the house for my son's 3rd, 4th, and 5th birthday parties - we love them :) They also offer on-location birthday parties. Stephanie (who is who we always book with) is FABULOUS!

The YMCA is pretty reasonable, and you can usually invite a ton of people.
Also, check with your city's parks & rec department. They sometimes offer fun kids' birthday parties (with themes!) at their recreation centers - also inexpensive.
Or you can have it at a park for free! Just get there early and stake out some tables. =)
