Any ideas Of where to have a 1st bday party that not too pricey. We have a large family & will have all ages 1 year to adult and it's in Feb so too cold for the park.

What can I do next?

Hi candy,

the first birthday is always done at home with friends and family so the little one can dig their hands into their own little cake. That way you and bee line them straight to the bath tub after they dig into their own little cake.
Happy birthday!!!!!

There is a place in Frisco Texas...called The Wiggles...it is inside and it is a place for toddlers....I think its perfect...but also there are some Once Upon a Time stores that have like a mini town...and kids can play dress-up and drive little cars around town....I know one in Mckinney but not sure what its is called...I am sure there are plenty of places for things like that...ooooh also I just thought about this...Try Planet Pizza...it's in Plano and it has an amusement park indoors...perfect for any child....I hope this helps....Happy Birthday to your little one!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

At 1 years old they really don't know whats going on, the party is more for the adults then the baby. Doing a BBQ at home would be nice. When you order the cake from some places, they will throw in a little one for free for the first birthday. If you make your own cake, make one just for the baby, it makes for a nice picture. I would also recommend that when you send out the invitations, you register somewhere, this way your guest will know what to get your sweet baby and you don't have to take things back to the store. I love to know what to buy rather then guessing and having them either throw out what they didn't want or have to take it back. They have a wish list on most online sites like, Walmart, Toys R us, Target and so on. So having on your invitations the following, Our precious baby has a wish list at the following stores, and give them the info to find your wish list. Hope this helps

Hi Candy!

I'n not sure what type of setting you want, but Chuck -E-Cheese's worked for us when my kids were that age.

Do you have a Planet Pizza near you? Or try the local bowling alley. Another idea is a kids museum if there is one in your town.Hope one of these works for you.
